How do you ensure that your clients are always kept in the know with industry news and developments? | |

For airfreight, what charges must I know? | |
Besides the airfreight charge paid to the airline/agent, there will be Terminal/Handling Fee, and possible Storage charges. |
What other charges must I know? | |
Asycuda Fee, Permits and Licences Fee, Zambia Beareu of Standards (ZABS) testing and sampling fees, Advance Income Tax (AIT). And if you are importing motor vehicles – Carbon Tax, Motor Vehicle Fee, Motor Vehicle Surcharge tax (if vehicle is over 5yrs). |
What taxes are applicable in Zambia? | |
These are dependent on the commodity being imported, and may include Customs Duty, Import V.A.T, Excise Duty, Surcharge Tax (Selected Goods Surcharge – SGS). Contact us with details and we will advise. |
What documents will you require from me for imports/exports? | |
(1). Commercial Invoice (2). Freight/ Transport and/or Insurance invoice – if not included on the Commercial Invoice,(3). Packing List (4). Road Consignment Note (5). Load manifest i.e., Customs Road Freight Manifest/ Air Way Bill/ Bill of Lading/Rail Consignment Note (6). Export Declarations/Transit declarations i.e. SAD500 (7). Proof of Eligibility of rebate/remission of import taxes i.e SADC/ COMESA / EUR Certificates/ rebate confirmation certificates or any supporting documents (8). Import/Export permits/Licences (9). Police Report Clearance/ JEVIC/ VERIDOT (Vehicles clearance) (10). Any other documents relevant to the transaction. |
What type of clients/customers do you serve? | |
There is no client big or small to us. Our clientele includes the tourism sector, civil engineering and construction companies, manufacturing, agriculture, general transporters and individuals. |
Are you able to serve me at other borders you are not physically found? | |
Yes, through outsourced third parties. |
At which border(s) are you physically found? | |
Chirundu, Katima Mulilo, Kazungula, Kenneth Kaunda Int’l Airport, Livingstone (HQ), Nakonde and Victoria Falls. |
What other services will you offer me? | |
Import/Export Permit application (VET, Plant, Agri-business, Temporal Import Permit [TIP] and Ministry of Health Import Clearance Certificate [MOH]). |
What services do you offer? | |
We offer Customs Clearing services (Final clearing ONLY). |
